TYRE INFLATION SYSTEM

BOOSTER PUMP

Bleeding your tyres is done quickly if you use our wheel valve, QTIS-WVA, however, in order to drastically reduce your waiting times when inflating as well, a large compressor capacity, a higher filling pressure, as well as a flow-optimized pipe layout will make all the difference.

BOOSTER PUMP

Optimize your pneumatic performance when inflating tyres
Pipe diameters that are too small, and long pipe lengths with many bends in the path between the valve manifold and the tyres, can cost you costly pressure loss and a lot of filling time, depending on the tyre volume. This loss of time can be easily recovered if you inflate the tyres with a higher compressed air pressure of 6 bar instead of 4 bar and sufficient airflow. At these higher fill pressures, you will have to bleed the tyres at a pressure of 10 bar which switches the QTIS-WVA wheel valve to the bleed position.
If your compressor is not able to deliver this higher pressure, you can also use our booster pump for this. This is because it is able to double the pressure of your compressed air up to 10 bar and store it in a pressure vessel with a small volume (20 – 25L). This volume is more than enough to provide the wheel valves with the shifting impulse they need.
